How Long does this Warranty Last? 

This limited warranty (“Warranty”) varies based on the type of product, and the period begins on the date of purchase unless the product is being delivered in California. If the product is being delivered in California, the Warranty period begins on the date of the delivery, and NOT the date of purchase.

Hand Tools – Lifetime Limited Warranty 
Diagnostic Tools, Listening Devices, Electronics, etc. – 90 Day Limited Warranty 
Lighting & Other Products – One Year Limited Warranty

What Does This Warranty Cover? 

This Warranty covers any defects in materials or craftsmanship of Steelman and Steelman Pro items purchased from Steelmantools.com, Steelman Tools official Amazon listings, or a Steelman Tools authorized retailer or partner (“Covered Item(s)”). 

What Does This Warranty Not Cover? 

This Warranty does not cover lost or stolen items. This Warranty also does not cover damage caused by normal wear and tear, or damage caused by anything other than defects in material or craftsmanship. This Warranty is limited to the original purchaser of the product(s) only and is not transferred to a new owner. Items purchased from re-sellers or unauthorized retailers are not covered by this Warranty. Also, consequential and incidental damages are not recoverable under this Warranty. Some states do not allow the exclusion or limitation of incidental or consequential damages, so the above limitation or exclusion may not apply to you. 

How Do I Submit a Warranty Claim? 

To be eligible for replacement of your Covered Item(s) under this Warranty, you must submit a claim via the Contact Us link on the Steelman Tools website. If you purchased your Covered Item(s) from a Steelman Tools authorized retailer or partner, proof of purchase may be required to submit a claim. You may also be required to provide photographs of the claimed damage to your item. We may require the item to be sent back to us for inspection, and if we do, we will provide you with a prepaid shipping label. If you choose to ship it without our provided label, you are responsible for any return shipping costs. 

What Will Steelman Do? 

Steelman Tools will evaluate your submitted Warranty claim. If Steelman Tools determines that the damage to your Covered Item(s) is caused by a defect in materials or craftsmanship, Steelman Tools will repair or replace your item, at no cost to you, with the same style and color, provided supplies are available. If your item’s style is sold out or has been discontinued, you will be offered another item of similar or reasonably equivalent style as identified by Steelman Tools.

No shipping, handling, or processing fees are required to submit or for Steelman Tools to fulfill your Warranty claim.

If your item is determined NOT to be covered by this Warranty, but is repairable, Steelman Tools may, at its sole discretion, offer you the option to have the item repaired with a reasonable fee for repair and/or return shipping. No repair action will be taken without your consent to the repair and charges consistent with this policy. 

How Does State Law Apply? 

This Warranty gives you specific legal rights. You may also have other rights which vary from state to state.
